PrimeraDx patented STAR technology represents the next generation in real-time PCR technology. The STAR technology uses sequential sampling of PCR product and capillary electrophoresis detection to generate quantitative results with the ability to accurately measure up to 60 analytes in a single sample.

Development of the STAR technology has led to breakthroughs in assay automation, integrated assay controls and detection optics. These breakthroughs combined with our expertise in multiplexed assay development are embodied in the ICEPlex System, a proprietary bench-top instrument system and novel assays in infectious disease and cancer based on the STAR technology.
